C.P.S. SPARKLING-WINES PRODUCTION CENTER activity started in February 1990.
Our production plant is situated in the Marzeno valley, west of Faenza in the Ravenna province, a hilly area particularly gifted with vineyards.
It extends on a total surface area of 17,300 square metres with a production area of about 4,000 square metres.
Since the very beginning of its activity, our Company concentrated all of its resources in the development of production technologies for sparkling wines (spumante) with natural fermentation in surge tanks (Charmat method) and of bottling techniques, focusing on the product’s sterile micro-filtering, which is now one of our know how’s main strength points.
In June 1998, C.P.S. s.r.l. was one of the first companies in its field to produce a detailed plan of correct hygienic praxis (HACCP).
This was just the starting point to obtain its quality certification in July 1999, in accordance with UNI EN ISO 9001 : 2000 regulations. Such target was just the right acknowledgement for its qualitative resources.
